Lucy Liu was born in America. Liu is an American actor, singer and voice actor. She's a beautiful, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. Her early success was boosted through her participation in a few popular series. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. The fame she gained from the show was translated into film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. The actress then gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around this same time she was also in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films, such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which didn't have any impact.
