Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the thriller Precious. Born into an upper middle-class family located in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mother was a movie fan and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for movies as a young person. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities, and she was a huge fan of drama. She enjoyed acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous chances to perform during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting as a career. She was part of the University of Southern Calif's Summer program and enjoyed it immensely. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment with success, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Following the completion of her project and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Even though she loved her job, she still yearned to be an actress. She started her career in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star on romance comedy Hitch. In the years since, she has played in many popular films and television shows.
